Teaching The Miracle Worker
Using the Aesthetic Realism of Eli Siegel as a teaching method, I have had tremendous success teaching William Gibson's The Miracle Worker in high school. Based on the lives of Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan, it is a modern classic.
